They had BCBS on tap at 2 chicago bar airports. It's not rare enough.
But this has a perfect hint of bourbon & doesn't come in hot at all for being 11+ABV
BCBS comes in too hot for me and it's only a beer I would want to drink on certain occasions.
I could see myself drinking a KBS whenever.

You know.. I actually 100% agree with you with that elaboration. I personally like a smoother, more subtle style. I am not good with the extreme syrupy barrel aged beers.. at least not on a regular basis.
I thought you were comparing them on that level, in which case BCBS is definitely thicker and more of a bourbon punch in the face. But I definitely agree that KBS is better-drinking.
