That sucks. Is there a lot #? I would call them. They would likely want your experience to be good? What GP beers are they?

4BD: r2h56.

I'll have to check the cans out tomorrow and see. But as far as I could tell, there is no kind of printed markings on the can.
They are the IPA, Snake Handler, and Brown. Brown is still good. Snake Handler tastes malty, and I haven't opened one of the IPA's yet

Is this based on taste alone or some other indicator?

I try to be pretty leary of non-dated beers in unfamiliar territory.

I had a growler of some Russian River this weekend. Maybe the R2H56? Seems like they had 4 boxes, and checked the only thin I had not heard of, not Pliny, not Blind Pig...

Yeah, it was row 2 hill 56. Good stuff.

Today's FBD was West Coast IPA.

Nice done Mung. It's hard for me to leave RR without a growler of it. $14...what a deal.

Same here, but this store was highly recommended and rated highly on BA. Plus it was the only place I was stopping where there was Good People.

Same here

The other day Central Market put out some Karbach Hop Delusion that was "stuck in the back" and it's way past it's prime. Someone not familiar with when it came out would just see a highly rated DIPA and probably pick some up.

I know they have to sell it, but it just sucks that someone has to unknowingly buy a beer that's not good anymore.

Giving myself a crash-course on Green Flash since it's much more available here, and really liking it!

Check this thread tomorrow. I'll write up some recs when I get in to work. I don't feel like typing all that on my iPad.

Im in the Heights, but I used to live close to Sugar Land. So I'm pretty familiar with your area.

Hmmm, I bought 4 Snake handlers at Maggie's in Orange Beach last week. This was my second trip in there in 3 days. They didn't have any my first visit. I inquired and the lady said they had just come in. I'm wondering if she meant they had just made their way to the shelves. Anyway, I was underfrickingwhelmed, to say the least. I bet they were old. Why is it so hard to date IPAs? Looking at you too Lazy Magnolia.

It's a delicious cheese bread and jalapeno appetizer. I wouldn't recommend it if you're not a big jalapeno fan, though.

I bought some Hopslam earlier this year from a small market that apparently had it stuck in the back for 6 months. It was still damn good, so I hate to see how good it would be if it was fresh...
