Looking to up my seasoning/sauce/dressing game. Looking for ideas for store bought items. What are your favorites?

Example: My family swears by Newman’s Own Salad Dressings (particularly the Family Italian and Caesar.

Looking for ideas on good Mexican, Italian, and Greek seasonings, BBQ sauce, etc. Thanks

I recently tried Ken’s sweet Vidalia onion dressing. It’s very good. Goes well on salads with fruits. Also shrimp, avocado and sweet onion.

Stopped buying store bought dressings a while ago and started making my own. They're cheaper, easy to make, taste great and better for you.

Ken’s Caesar dressing is the closest I have found to matching the Caesar dressing in the bag salad kits. Ken’s Northern Italian (I like the Lite) is really good, too. We still use Hidden Valley, although I’m sure there are better ranch’s out there.

G Hughes makes a no sugar added Thai Chili sauce that I really like for wings and Asian marinades. Garlic parm wing sauce is a staple

Once I started making my own seasoning mixes and sauces I couldn't go back. It is really easy to do and if you keep a stock of bulk spices it is cheaper. It is also nice to be able to use the same bases of spices to make several different kinds of flavors. It is crazy how many cultures use the same basic spices with just one or two distinct spices that make them stand out.

make your own salad dressings it couldn’t be easier.
for spices I use cavenders, powdered adobo and mrs dash most often (all salt free). Poster Got Blaze sells killer chili and fajita spice mixes, best I’ve ever used.

for wet seasonings I use garlic, ginger, olive oil and lemon in most preparations. Keep those around and you are most of the way there for almost anything. Cumin and dried herbs go with almost all cuisines. Keep a bottle of white wine in the fridge and obviously learn to season with salt and pepper

Excellent for dipping and putting on tacos. We also spread this inside quesadillas.

I buy too many condiment type items, so you’d think I’d have a huge list. Ugh, I need to stop.

A few favorites:

Cousins Creole Tomato salad dressing
Specially Selected Three Cheese Vinaigrette (Aldi)
Louisiana Gold Green Sauce
Tabasco Sriracha
Everything But the Bagel Seasoning (Trader Joe version preferred)
Mrs. Renfro’s Hot Chow Chow
Mrs. Renfro’s Pickled Green Tomatoes
Good and Gather Hot Fire Roasted Habanero Salsa (Target)

The Mrs. Renfro items are great with any rice n gravy meal.
