Favorite donuts are from Butter Krisp in Covington.

On the South shore, I like Blue Dot, Bakers Dozen, Tastee and Dorignacs. District donuts are too complicated. Not a fan of Krispy Kreme.

The donuts at lunch at Rummel were the greatest thing ever made.

I still I knew where they got them from.

There's a place in new Orleans that makes the best donut I've ever had. The company I worked for used to pick up a box before our weekly meeting. The Bavarian cream filled donut with powdered sugar was the best I've ever had. Voodoo donut in Portland was a close second.

Dr. Lee's on bright side by Inga's is pretty good. I get a couple of donut holes and some glazed almost every other week.

RIP Tiger Deaux-nuts

I think the best donut place in the BR area is Port Allen Bakery... hot fresh glazed and a blueberry cake donut.

Southern Maid is thr goat donut spot. I recall picking up a dozen glazed for 2.99 back in the late 90s on many occasions. The one on the corner of swan lake & east Texas in bossier city.

If only Rummel could have taught you English while you ate your donut.

Me and my MawMaw used to walk their to get some. A couple of glazed and she would get real sugar to put in her coffee with 3 creams. And she lived past 90 RIP

Passing through Lafayette on my way to Houston, stopped at Meche's. Walked in as they were taking them out the fryer (simple glazed). Didn't have to chew, it just melted in your mouth.
Donuts have never been the same since...
