Don't forget to add a section about the "Texas Crutch" under the Guide to Smoking. To wrap or not to wrap always seems to lead to some good debate.

It would be nice to have a temp guideline of when to wrap, if wrapping.

I didnt get very far into detail with it, but I give a general run down of the stall and how to get past it.

Would you guys rather me set up an e mail address for you to send recipes to? I can do that if it would be easier than typing them out here.

I know I am just being lazy, but you should link the table of contents to their respective sections, so you can just click on "Brisket" and it brings you to the brisket section.

I'm assuming that is possible to do somehow using a google document?

yeah set up an email and I can get documents to you that way. I find it easier to format things in word or google docs instead of this little text box.

I would recommend calling it an "unofficial" tigerdroppings publication. I think Chicken would want that.

Great effort here. My boys got me an electric smoker for Christmas and this post is going to be a huge help for someone that’s only burned things with fire in the past. Thanks for pulling this together OP!

updated OP with e mail address. Lots of people had said they wanted to participate, but I haven't gotten many recipes yet. Would be nice if you guys can start turning them in so I can add them. Dont want a book full of just my stuff.

Just came in to say, damn, nice. Looks like you put some work into that. Not sure any of my recipes are worthy of inclusion (most of mine are pulled from other places and tweaked), but I'll definitely try out some of the published ones.

Recommendation from someone who works in advertising...don't worry about editing/linking/formatting until you've got everything in there.

hey bud, sorry its been a crazy last few days. I'm in Destin in the service industry and its been reported that 60 schools are off this week so its been hard to jump on here after working 10 hours straight.

I don't have work until 4pm tomorrow evening so I'll be digging up my recipe book with the stuff I worked out over the summer as well as starting to get my notes on the smokers. I'll email you what I can tomorrow along with my industry credentials.

Go for it. I stole it from somebody else too! That dish is too good to not pass on.
