El Pollo Loco in B.R. closed?

Been wanting to check it out and a friend told me they've been closed this week.

El Pollo's chicken is one of my favorites.
You can grill your own at home
Here is the marinade and basting recipe. Just get a whole chicken and butcher, or if you like just legs and thighs that works too.
6 ounces pineapple juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon mild chili pepper, remove stem and seeds from chiles, finely minced (Anaheim or California)
8 drops yellow food coloring (but accurate) (optional)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

we bid on it came in 2nd.
it’s a half block from my office so we’ve been hitting it hard. It’s OK to slightly better than OK. Birra as noted above is 10x better

The one on airline?
Ive eaten there about 3-4 times since its been open. Something about the simplicity of rotisserie chicken and mexican sides with tortillas is a nice combo. What a shame if it is in fact closed now.

I eat it after the gym and yeah it was closed.
I believe I saw online that the business was for sale
A shame too, it was pretty great service.
The place across the street closes at 6 so terrible hours.
