EBR Donut Run 2016

Here are the competitors. Only requirement is that it is located in EBRP. Let me know if there are any I overlooked.

Krispy Kreme

Tiger Deaux-Nuts
There will be two categories: best glazed and best chocolate-covered. Wish I could do more, i.e. Best cake doughnut and best filled, but that would get a little pricy.

This past weekend my son went to Boo at the Zoo with his friend so I had some free time on my hands for the first time in a long time. As far as the doughnuts go, I saw a thread/debate recently about who has the best in the area, so I figured I'd do a blind test since I love doughnuts. Some people you just can't please, I guess.

I don't think Ed's is closed; then again, I've never been there.
As far as KK/Dunkin, those are two totally opposite entities. KK on Plank makes hot fresh doughnuts throughout the day. It'll be hard for any of the other aforementioned places to beat a hot glazed straight from the conveyor belt at KK. They have perfected it.
DD, on the other hand, doesn't even make their doughnuts fresh anymore. They are pre-made, frozen, and shipped. All they do at DD is stick them in a proofer for a little while. I'm not sure if their doughnuts even touch oil anymore.
Anyway, based in the comments, I doubt I'm going to waste my time or money. Too many smartasses who couldn't care less.
