I can buy an $80 gift card for $50.

Can two people eat pretty well there for $80?

I don't like the thought of going to a chain steak house in Savannah, but for $50, it is tempting.

edit: Never mind. Looked up the menu.

If you purchase a larger cut of meat, appetizer and a side or two, yes. Adult beverages will probably push you over the $80.00.

Either way, I'd buy the gift card at that price.

Two could probably walk out for 120 with tax and tip and each having a glass of wine.

He could go and have a pretty nice lunch.

I'd need a nap after.

That's what I determined as well. Not worth it for me.

The deal is only in Savannah and Charlotte.

Or you could just use the gift card and pay the extra that you spend above the $80.

It would not be an enjoyable dinner to try and squeeze it in under $80.

Ya, steakhouses are not my thing really. I would rather make my own at that price.

Right, you could get the porterhouse (can't remember the price $55?) and split a salad.

The better question is why you would eat at RC if you're in Savannah.

Exactly!

I really wouldn't but I was thinking for the right price I might.

Stop being so cheap. Just go and enjoy it and bring your lady friend. You are still saving $30 dollars

Your logic baffles me. So if you go over $80 it isn't still a $30 savings?

Not being cheap. I just don't want to spend more than $50 at a chain steakhouse when there are so many great places to eat in Savannah.

I know. I've been trying to think it through. I'd spend $50 for an $80 meal. But I don't want to spend $90 ($120-$30 savings) at RC. I'd rather spend the $90 somewhere else.

I ate at the one in Savannah. It was good. You could go for cocktails one night and just have cocktails and some apps. The sides are big enough to share. Share a steak if you want. They will split a wedge for you, too.
