That's what I meant -- OUR personal best ever.
But we all know the Worldwide Leader is right and Miguel Cabrera is far better than Babe Ruth ever was and we are all witnesses.

What's the greatest chef salad you've ever had?

I have had dry aged here before it's good but not on Ruth Chris level

I had to add salt and pepper to mine and I don't like a heavily seasoned steak. I was extremely disappointed.

Reading old threads, it appears Ruffino's is a sacred cow on this board. I've always enjoyed my meals there.

Be honest, and I've never had an outstanding meal there. They have been OK to mediocre. My last attempt was the steak and I was not happy. That's the last time I'm going there.

I want to love Ruffino's, but they've been just okay the past few times for me as well. We didn't get dry aged, but the steak was very meh. And the potatoes it was served with had no salt or pepper or anything. Just.. plain potatoes, cooked. I still think it is a great atmosphere and there are items that are very good though. You just can't stray from them. I really like hanging in the bar area on a busy night.
I did use them for catering recently, and it was outstanding. Pork cheeks, marscapone polenta, sweet potato puree.

I went Friday with my wife, and I had the dry age 16oz Ribeye. It was incredible! This was my first time at the Laffeytte location, and I loved everything about it.
