So I accidentally did 1/4 cup of butter instead of an 1/8 in a king cake recipe. Am I screwed?

The wife knows all about this stuff. She says texture will completely change. Not as much chew as normal. Other then that not much. definitely will be oily/buttery.

Too late to add more flour, egg and sugar? Going to be a slightly weird texture I think with that big of a jump in butter.

Yeah, too late to add other ingredients. Cake's done. We'll see how it is tomorrow when eaten..
