Interesting size. So how big is the large, 16"?

If you order a large at firehouse you are either a 16-20 year old guy or a complete fat frick

I get the meatball. How many calories is that?
According to their site (and we can bet it measures on the downside), the medium is 816 and a large 1290...

Their medium sandwiches with a bag of chips are plenty for a normal sized dude. Take it from me, a normal sized dude that eats their medium sandwiches and a bag of chips.

the medium is 816

That doesn't really make sense, if the large were twice the size, then the calorie count would be the same...

then the calorie count would be the same

Anyway, doing a complete even conversion based on calories, the medium would be 8" and the large 14.5 "

Doesn't really matter to me the amount of calories if you just go to the gym.....What matters more to me is if it is "good" calories... a ton of turkey and ham on wheat bread and some cheese might be 1000 calories but it has to be better than 650 calories on a sandwich from McDonalds.

You can ask the same question for a lot of foods.
Ever eat Chinese?
One serving of Kung Pao Chicken with 1 cup of rice is
Fat:42 grams
Carbs: 84
Calories:1020
Sodium:2428 mg

Calories are calories. Doesn't matter if you get them from donuts or spinach. If you over eat then you'll gain weight.
Now vitamins and nutrients are a different story.

I always get the large, and save half of it for a later snack. 5'10", 175 lbs. I also dig their soda machine.
Tip: Don't get Firehouse delivered. By the time it gets to you, it's a wet mush of a sandwich.
