Just different taste for different folks. I like the taste of most beers but ML taste terrible to me. There might be something you think taste bad that others like the taste of... Thats all I can figure out.

I understand everyone has different taste, but none of them have much of a flavor profile at all. Just seems strange.
Whatever floats your boat though.

yes I know all the ales blah blah blah, spare me

Now wine......

GTFO. I can buy a premium bomber of beer for the price of a cheap bottle of wine. My FIL pushes great wine on me and I like it, but I'm a beer person. Beer has just as much depth and a broader taste spectrum than wine. If you haven't experienced that then you haven't drank the right stuff. Not hating on you being a wine drinker or wine at all but don't dumb stuff down when you haven't experienced the variety it has to offer.

I never understand this. If you are drinking the stuff you listed and will drink bud and coors, what is the difference? Water beer is water beer.

If you can't tell the difference between Coors, Miller and Bud Light then your taste buds may be defective.

Nothing more pathetic than a beer snob. I love to try different types of beer but there is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking and enjoying a bud, miller coors etc.

I used to be able to tell the diff in Miller, not so much anymore. I just don't drink them as much as I used to. I love many types of beer and don't buy Miller, Bud, Coors much anymore but it has its place with me. And yeah I hate snobs of any type (see above post). I've never told my friends anything about their limmited beer choices, but I do try to get them to take a sip of what I got if they've never tried it.

Good man. I also don't understand people who won't try anything different. I'll try just about anything once. The thing I don't like about the light beers is the inconsistency. Sometimes you get a great batch and it's excellent, sometimes you get swill. Not sure what happens.

What is it that makes American beer so bad? The amt of hops, the water, the science. Or do people just not like a pilsner, a beer that has been in existence since The mid 1800's. Were those folks just dumb?

By American Beer I assume you mean the big 3. There are tons of great American beers out these days. Sierra Nevada, Stone, Sam Adams, and Abita are just a few off of the top of my head.

My go to beer is Schlitz, but unfortunately it has become scarce in BR of late. I don't know why the distributors are holding out! I like my Sunday Schlitz.

Of course you can tell a slight difference, but I don't think it is enough for me to ever claim I hate or love one over the other.

Not a beer snob. I just like good beer

If it makes me have some street cred, I drank 13 budlights yesterday before and during the LSU game.

Far from it big dog.

If you read my early post in this thread I mentioned my go to beers. I just dont have a problem with the guy next to me drinking a bud light if thats what he wants. Also, I do drink the stuff during tailgating, crawfish boils, golf rounds etc.

Go pick up your hackey sack and return to the quad for your tourney.

You are the d-bag who has every bottle of beer stacked across the top of his dresser in his dorm room. And by every bottle, I mean the 12 you have actually (well maybe, the kid from the down the hall may have given you a couple to up your "cred") finished.

What an asshat.

Same here, except its something Michelob.

I read on this board someone singing the praises of PBR on tap. I tried it, they were right.

If I'm on a beach, Pacifico. The taste association takes me right back to the beaches of Mexico. I was buying it for 8 bucks a case there (peso conversion), as opposed to 8 for a sixer here.
