Heading to Burlington in a couple of weeks.

Looking for dinner or lunch Recs if anyone’s been.

We’ll be stopping in Stowe for the day so we’re planning on having lunch at Doc Ponds but other than that, I’d appreciate any ideas!

Hen of the Wood

Skinny Pancake is a cool breakfast spot near Lake Champlain

I’ll be in Stowe next weekend and plan on swinging by Doc Ponds as well. Great choice. Maybe I’ll see you there.

We usually go to Hen of the Wood in Stowe as well, but are going to try a new place this time.

To add onto a couple recommendations already said, American Flatbread is awesome. Also, swing over to Winooski and go to Onion City Chicken & Oyster. Same owners as Misery Loves Co., which is a local favorite.

Doc Ponds kicks arse. Enjoy!

American Flatbread

Haven't eaten at the one in Burlington but they opened one in Dallas and it was horrible. Already gone out of business.

Hen is obviously great, but Honey Road is always a must visit. Order as much as you can share.

Sucks about the Dallas location. American Flatbread is very much taken with great care in Vermont. Grew up in Burlington and it has always been a good experience for well over a decade.

If you're a mac and cheese fan, check out Our House Bistro in Winooski (Burlington burb). Best damn mac and cheese I've ever had, hands down.
