Going to see Jurassic World in IMAX tonight and the only one on the northshore is Slidell. Anyone got any recommendations for some good dinner spots in Slidell?

Don't really care on type of food, wouldn't mind something on the water. Can be kind of expensive. Cannot be in a strip mall...

Nathans on the bayou is a good spot.
Marina cafe is good place on the water too.
Palmettos on the bayou is a great place and not far away from the movie theatre. I would recommend this place first.

Laid back would be Southside cafe (not on water)

FYI I live in Slidell

My folks say there's a new Italian joint out there that's good. I'm not buying it.

Mine said the same. Last time I played da Harbaw(couple weeks ago), the parking lot was packed when I passed by on #8.

Cote in old town is great.
Palmetto's on the Bayou is very good also.

Southside or Phil's for more casual.

I ate there after a round last night for the first time after having at least 10 people tell me they loved the place.

It's nice inside and the prices are great. The stromboli I had was excellent. They seem to be doing well and I can now see why.

It is pretty good. Called joes Italian. Not the best Italian but it is very good for the price. It has Italian pie prices with better food
