Did Smith Creamery just disappear?

I had some Mauthe cheesecake and was thinking about Smith and I haven't seen it in quite awhile. Like a few years.
After their fire Kleinpeter helped them but they seem to not be around.

Best chocolate milk ever. Used to drink the shite out of it when I worked at Calandros in highschool.

Wasn't there a fire that destroyed their facility? I thought they were supposed to be working with another dairy. Maybe I'm thinking of another dairy......

You are correct. After the fire at their facility, Kleinpeter took them in and processed their milk.
Kleinpeter had problems of their own in the last few years as well.
Smith's had a quality product that is missed by me.

Smith's was great but now I get most of my dairy from Feliciana's Best from the Farmer's Market. Their stuff is fantastic!

I have not been able to find it the last few weeks at Rouse's, and I figured it was due to them cutting off their deal with them or something to that effect. This is sad news. Smith's produced the best milk and butter around here
