It's the days of the millennial brewery. They need to receive credit and celebrate the release of DDH beer

Back in my day, if a beer was DDH, it was originally done so to make it taste good and no special callouts were made because the beer sold itself

I wasn't really a fan of the DDHE last week either tbh... looking forward to opus bottles though

On another note, I really like the NOLA Syncopation for a well-balanced easy drinker. I think it's very well done.

I may need to try it again but I was not impressed with NOLA Syncopation. I enjoy west coast based IPA's also but this one didn't do it for me.

I thought their 004&005 was much better. I'm not sure why they didn't can that one.

Nope, called off due to lack of interest. Too bad. I was into it. Don't bother driving out.

At one point one of the employees told me they got a cease and desist on the name Opus from Opus vineyards.
I'm surprised they're still using that name

I think Bloom was the best beer they have made but apparently they have no plans to make a batch anytime soon.

And I still haven't found the Jucifer. Did another batch make it out?

we're not talking about blades on men's razors, they've got to reaching a point of diminishing returns with the dry hopping, right?

You know half this board would pay good money for a cup of straight dry hops

That is one good damned beer. I originally got a sixer at Carter's in Walker and then picked up a second sixer at Rouse off Drusilla. I think it sold out quick once word was out.

I couldn't find Juicifer anywhere last weekend except on tap at the damn Draft House of all places. 75% of their beer was out and Juicier was pouring out of an Anita Amber tap. I only knew they had it because the bartender told me because I asked if they had any kind of IPA that wasn't out.

How is that place even open still?

I pass it pretty frequently and it always looks dead and/or closed

Cask & Barrel across the street blows it away (they had DDH Envie on tap). But they were having a private event Saturday, so I had to slum it at Draft House.
