Pardon my ignorance, but do they allow for a single growler fill or is it crowlers only?

I'm sure you can go in and get growlers filled still

I don't think that they'll be doing growler fills or flights during events. Line will probably be a mile long.

I ended up checking with Parish. They did confirm single growler fills.

I tried the latest release of DDH Envie. My first time trying the beer. To me, it tastes a lot like many Hefeweizen beers that I have had. More similar to that than many bitter IPA beers. Delicious and I will drink again, but more like a hefeweizen to me.

That's the fad. IPAs that taste more like Hefen than those with heavy dank or resin flavors.

They are changing the name to "Nova Vert", due to a cease and desist from Opus winery.

I knew about the cease and desist and they were allowed to get through their current marketing collateral but is that was it's really now going to be called?

Yea, kinda sucks. New name doesn't flow as well.

Do you really think it's going to be that ridiculous? Is it better to go late? Was the ghost line solid all through the night?

No I don't think it will be that crazy. Probably by the time Parish opens you will have a line already. I know people will be arriving an hour before and probably sharing some beer as well.
I haven't been to Parish since the first batch of Opus but that was bad with the line. Stood outside for an hour I guess, glad I had a few people to chat with though.

I can't really comment on how the last few releases have gone.

Had a few cases of DDH Envie at the wank rouses a few days ago. Passed on it. Mixed reviews on this batch and price point ($13/4 pack) were to blame. Give me regular envie or jucifer at $10/6 pack. Over the DDH hype.

...if it is the Mosaic DDH Envie - agreed. However, I'll buy the shite out of the Citra version.

At one point one of the employees told me they got a cease and desist on the name Opus from Opus vineyards.
I'm surprised they're still using that name

Next time the run it, it will be rebranded as "Nova Vert"
