it's not b/c of Chuy's b/c they're WAY overrated in this town right now. Nothing but your run of the mill Tex-Mex place.
I have no reason to eat at any of the places in the new Costco development.

You've got to be kidding. If anything, the food (at least the selection) has gotten better.

They have some awesome lunch specials, and kept the traditional menu items exactly the same.

I thought since Javi changed the name, it's only gotten better. Food has been on point every time I've gone lately

Baton Rouge has too many Mexican joints and too many sushi places.

Coyote Blues was awful! Lonestar did really well there, not sure why it closed.

It didn't help that Outback was right across the street.

They don't do a whole lot of maintenance on that other piece of shite building but yeah they will have two locations.

The building where Juban's is opening it's bistro Adrian's broke ground two weeks ago as well as Highland and Perkins.

They formally announced the closure of the BR location today. Now I have no reason to go to BR again, ever.

In Denham, next to Bass Pro, in that same area where Hooters is located that are building another Saritas. They put out a quality mexican meal.

They've been trying to get into BR for some time now. They were supposed to be near CCLA but that fell through and up until maybe last week, the word I heard was that they were in negotiations to get into the same strip mall as Hooter's and Sullivan's but that fell through.

Wouldn't surprise me if they jump on the location. Plus, that's close to home when I need a chargrilled oyster fix.

They could probably get that building reasonable and I'm sure if they put a number on building from scratch they had sticker shock.

That lot wasn't flat, I'm sure it was going to cost a pretty penny to make it usable
