I want to use this on my standing rib roast and I am out and don't have time to order more. Does anyone know of a place to get this in Lafayette or the surrounding area? Thanks.

Not lying--I found some the other day at lowes while looking for light bulbs. Grabbed some for the hell of it. Don't remember the brand though

Eta looks like it's the one on the far right

If you want to just make your own, this is very good:
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ancho-chili powder
1/2 cup expresso ground (very fine) Coffee. (Has red, yellow&green label)
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup ground black pepper
Procedure:
1 Mix all and keep in an air tight container.

Are there maxwells markets over there?

They have one called mocca joe I believe or something similar to that.

It's pretty good.

Edited for typo

Have you ever done a reverse sear using a coffee rub?

Just use the espresso powder in the green white and red jar. You can pick this up at most decent grocery stores.

In a main aisle between the light bulbs and bbq sections. I was kinda shocked to see it to be honest
