It's only an issue to me, when it becomes something I notice to the point of being in my face. I mean, something like a roach crawling across my table or a rat scurrying across the dining room (both of which I've seen).

I've seen that in my own house. I still eat there.

i want to say it would concern me, but it doesn't. A roach actually crawled onto my hand at Dante's Kitchen by the hostess stand and i still ate the shite out of the spoon bread 10 minutes later.

A small roach crawled OUT of my friend's burger at Port O' Call. He shrugged and took a bite. It was right after Katrina so we overlooked a lot of health concerns on that first trip back.

I can't count the number of times I've seen something crawl past my plate at Louie's. It hasn't ever stopped me from going.

It's only if I eat somewhere and get food poisoning that I'd reconsider going back.

after working in restuarants and how they at least sanitize everything (even if it looks dingy and is infested with roaches), i think they are still closer to sterile than people's kitchens at home.

i dont really pay attention to this either.

I am a vendor, not for restaurant items, but I have been in the back of Logan Farms several times. That place is spotless. Chips runs a good place.
