Chinese Food in Harahan

Recently moved to River Ridge and saw China Palace on Hickory. Any experience with it? All recommendations for restaurants in the area appreciated. Tried Phil's Grill and it was better than expected.

I work in the area. Some casual non-chain lunch highlights besides those named are Seithers, Rivershack Tavern, Bevi Seafood (technically Metairie but very close), and Hickory Cafe.
I'm not sure if they have too many options for nicer dinners. The good thing is you're a short River Road drive from good restaurants in the south Carrolton area.

I funny live in the area, but I like the Ridge Bistro. Never a great experience, but never a bad nor disappointing one either. They often have a Groupon available.
Some friends go out of their way to drive from Metairie to Taste of Tokyo on Jefferson. I prefer Kyoto 2 in Elmwood (Citrus across from Coca Cola).

also, there used to be a bubble tea cafe attached to an exxon station on airline which oddly enough had some really good food. Their shrimp sandwich was awesome.
Not sure if they are still there.
China Ruby was good but they may have closed as well.

There was a Chinese restaurant called Chun Lee behind Elmwood that was pretty good. Not sure if they are still open.

Not Chinese, but my favorite po boys around there were from Mano's. Really good and cheap. Great roast beef.
