Saw this video and nearly threw up when I looked at my MOTTS bottle, and the ink stamp is NOT on the label, but the actual bottle. I was like WTFH? Went by Publix this morning, got their USA Washington made apple juice. With all the food safety issues in China, I sure as heck am not drinking something that comes from that country with who knows what the heck is in it!

Are you being serious or trolling? Have you done any kind of research about the food in America?

There are several countries that don't allow the kind of chemicals that we allow here in their food supply. I don't even want to get into it right now, just do your fricking research before you start getting all up in arms about Chinese apple concentrate.

How about something really simple, like reading the ingredients in something. Take your apple juice, for instance. Let's see, what SHOULD be in apple juice? Well, in my simple mind, there should be the squeezed juice of apples in it, I don't know, call me fricking crazy.

Try to find an apple juice in your local grocery store that doesn't contain chemical preservatives, flavorings, and other things that are horrible for you.

IMO ingredients are more important than country of origin, although I would prefer all my food being local. (and local like parish/state, not just US)

You could at least confirm if China is one of those countries with better food regulations than America. Should I actually look to buy stuff made in China because their practices are safer?

I doubt you have any clue how many of the products you use come from foreign sources.

It's globalization.

You should write a poem about the acceptable levels of rodent excrement in US canned goods

how much filth is allowable,
In your breakfast of pop tarts?
Well you can rest assured,
No more than 75 insect parts,
In 50 grams, that's not too bad,
Why should you even care?
If you consume that much you'll just,
Ingest one rodent hair,
Just wash it down with citrus juice,
Swallow those tasty dregs,
250 milliliters,
Have no more than 5 fly eggs,
And what's a little filth in juice,
If you are unaware?
Just gulp it down,
For there'll be found,
No more than one maggot there.

Who drinks fore packaged fruit juice? It's terrible for you. Might as well drink a soda....it's pure sugar. If apple juice from China freaks you out, don't do any research on the US orange juice industry. The faux-fresh stuff in the refrigerated case is an industrial product full of additives allowed by law....and it gets to call itself "not from concentrate".

Moral of the story: eat actual fruit. Don't drink fruit juices.

If people cared about buying local, buying preservative free, and contributing to our local economies, you wouldn't find anything BUT local product, and healthy preservative free products. What you see in the grocery store is like what you see in Washington in our politics. It's just a mirror that some get very offended by and others excuse. Still others think someone painted it, but it's still just a mirror.
