Was talking to a guy at Albertsons in check out who said he grinds brisket and makes burgers out of it. Anyone else do this? Said it makes a great burger.

One of my favorite burgers is made with a combination of brisket and short rib ground and mixed. We did one recently with those two and added bacon to kick it up a notch.

Yes, I do them all the time. Makes the best burgers in my opinion. I always buy a whole brisket to mix with my deer to make burgers. Whatever is left over, I cook brisket burgers with. I don't even really trim any fat.

This sounds really good. Do you separate the point from the flat or just grind it all together? I would think some wild pig meat would really kick this off. Thought???
