Breweries that brew both NE and NW style IPAs well

I assume some do it because they started out brewing NW style and then started brewing NE style beers.

I'm asking, because, outside of Block 15, I can't think of any that do. They either brew one or the other, although I know these breweries exist...

You could say Parish, if the would go back to brewing the dank GitM...

Is this difficult to do, based on different yeast strains needed and such?

You wouldn't put Great Nation in there?
But some others in the NW I can think of..
Widmer Brothers, Reuben’s Brews and Wayfinder

I guess a better questions is do you think this hazy NE style is a passing fad or here to stay?

Great Notion is pretty much only NE style.

Widmer Bros doesn't brew IPAs well. I haven't tried both styles from both Reuben's or Wayfinder.

I've had NW style from Reuben's, but not NE.

I haven't tried Wayfinders beers, yet. Their place looks way cool, and I will try it when the weather warms up a bit... They brew more German-style lagers, as I understand it, but the 2 guys who started it, came from Double Mountain and Sizzle Pie, respectively. The brewer interned under Josh pFriem, who also specializes in German-Belgian style beers, but is known to make a decent IPA, too. Sizzle Pie is supposed to be fantastic, although I haven't tried it yet.

If Wayfinder's makes a great IPA, I know their pizza will be world-class. I'm excited to try their stuff...

ETA: Wayfinder's doesn't make pizza, despite both of their founders coming from pizza backgrounds...

Parish does it with the same beer

Early Ghost was NE

Then Ghost went to NW

Now it is back to NE

I will throw Tree House out there. Although the Bright series is nothing special compared to their typical lineup, it is still a great "traditional" IPA.

Thanks. I've tried a few of their hazy NE style brews, but that's it.

I have never had a modern times beer, but they have been making west coast style IPAs since the beginning. Recently started making NE style, I have heard great things about them.

I didn't have that one. Every time I go, they have one or two IPAs that I've never heard of, before. They are delicious - every damn one of them.

Modern Times easily fits that

Pinthouse Pizza probably does too

I was coming in here to say Pinthouse Pizza.

Not because I'm biased, but because the director of brewing is an absolute genius in all things hoppy. He's doing things with pellets, lupulin powder, etc that are unprecedented, and the IPAs/Pale Ales run the gamut.

Definitely Fieldwork. They started out with NW style, which is still their "house style" and have been adding more and more NE styles over the past few months, especially since they got a canning line back around Thanksgiving

Yep. Went late last year and had their traditional IPA's. They were OK. Then I saw they had a beer named "Galaxy Juice" and I instantaneously got a massive boner. That was a delicious fricking juice bomb.

As someone who enjoys both is there an online site I can order West Coast (Cal Ore) and/or NE (Mass Vermont) IPAs? I'm ok with the options available locally, but it would be nice to branch out and try some that don't distribute to S. LA.

Whole Foods's brewery is probably going to get to that point soon.

Have you been to their brewery? A friend of mine was telling me about it the other day. It's not too far from me.
