Then again, maybe they will attempt a new concept in that location. That's what I'm pulling for. However the visibility for that location sucks.

Not true. The Old Hammond location was called Parma Pizza. Circa 1991

Wow so many memories there. Dinner after first communion, confirmation, homecoming.

From there website: "DeAngelo's has relocated it's original location from the Hammond Aire Shopping Plaza to 7970 Jefferson Hwy."

At one time they had one in Metairie and Mandeville as well. The Metairie location was very nice in an upscale facility. However it was located in an office building which got very little dinner traffic in to the restaurant. It closed right around Katrina or so.

Big Lou (as in Dad) had nothing to do with the place or its success .. He was just a leach ..

Worked there immediately after Katrina. They needed help to keep up with the rush. Must have been one of the few places back open so soon or something.

Yes. It's been closed for quite awhile in Mandeville.
What happened to the business in general? Why's it fizzling?

The one in Mandeville was very good when it was open. That location is now Ponchatrain Po'boys.
Very good Po'boy shop.
