I feel the same way. The whole thing is nearly unbelievable. I have a sad fascination with it. I'd like to know what other chef/owners really think about the deal.

I don't think there is another side to the story that is reasonable. At least, not based on the word on the street. And, I agree, that a marketing person/business manager would have come in handy then and now.
