My friends and I are driving to houston saturday and are looking for a place to get boiled crawfish on the way. Can someone recommend a restaurant or market close to I-10 to go?

Poches in Breaux Br or Crawfish Town in Breaux Br. Poches has a real good lunch buffet and crawfish etouffee is always on it. Nice meat market for boudin/cracklins also.

Is Poche's North or South of I-10?

Crawfishtown usa is your best bet. Its north of I-10 at the henderson exit. They're good but expect to pay near $5/lb. When compared to sammy's price/size/quality though its well worth it.

If you have never been it should be on the top of your list!

The Fruit Stand in BB (or something like that) boils them and they are very good.

Last Sunday we had good crawfish at Pat's in Henderson.
