Stopped at a little seafood joint to grab a half poboy, to bring home, last night and they had a sign up saying "Crawfish Are Back". Couple of minutes later, I saw them bring a tray of boiled crawfish out to a table.

Seems kinda early, to me. Anybody else seen them being sold already this year?

I've been seeing them in Decmber in years past.
I doubt they are Chinese. The only places that heat up and use those nasty fckers are Chinese buffets

It's a little place out in Pumpkin Center. Been there for a number of years. Would be surprised if he was pushing Chinese crawfish but, then, I was surprised at seeing boiled crawfish this early in the year, too.

Yep. There will be some early ones selling. We had 10 lbs as an appetizer last year to open duck season....season starts next week.

They're at LA Boilers on Perkins in Baton Rouge. Was told that they're undersized and that the tails hadn't quite filled out/up yet. Not sure if that last part is an actual thing, but that's what I was told.

There is no restaurant in Punkin Center. You can get a sammich at Bayou Boyz and Tom could make you a Pioneer sammich at the Punkin Patch, but that was years ago.

I'm assuming he means TNT seafood, the restaurant/gas station/karaoke bar that is in the corner of pumpkin center rd and hwy22. Lol

Yep...no gas! Started out on 22, halfway between Ponchy and Springfield. Sometimes the only option when coming in from Baton Rouge, kinda late in the evening, heading east toward Ponchatoula.

You haven't been here in a while. Bayou Boys has been sold. Only sandwich option there is Subway. As mentioned, TNT is on the corner of Pumpkin Center Road and Hwy 22. Cafe Nola has a pizza joint, with sandwiches, about a 1/2 mile down Pumpkin Center road, south of the interstate.
