If the owners or management are reading this thread, please fix the light bulbs in the Roux part of your sign. It has been broken for two weeks now.

Just wondering if all the "coming soon" items on the menu have arrived and if they printed new menus ..

As of this past thursday, the "boiled" menu is still MIA.

Got an order togo Thursday night- first time eating from this place.
Ended up trying the Bayou Burger and liked it- kind of a similar take on Mason's Shrimp burger.
My son had the Red beans and rice and said it was real good.

Took awhile to cook a burger and red beans. . . I think we waited a good 30min for it.
I'd order it again.

The food I had there was decent .. Disappointing to hear the "Boil" still doesn't exist, though ..

The place sounds pretty much like an exact do over but in a different spot of the failed place it was down the road according to what other posters have said. My lone experience there wasn't horrible, but the atmosphere & service seemed off. I'll just stick to City Cafe for my grilled & raw oysters along with "boiled" crawfish.

And yes, that menu is just stupid.

We gave it a shot this weekend. They have not fixed the service problem. Pretty inexcusable if you ask me. Food was ok but not worth waiting 2 hours for with no refills.

I give this place another 6 months, tops.

Two hours? How much did you order?

It was a table of 6, everyone ordered an entree, a couple of us ordered salads, and a couple of us ordered apps. Nothing outrageous. Saw a friend a few tables over on my way out and they'd been waiting over an hour as well. The staff seemed to be in disarray is the way I would describe it.

Yup...
Tried it the other day and it was a cluster frick. Had 3 of us, a poboy, burger and the chicken/waffles. The only thing the waitress really "knew" was the chicken and waffles are the best.
The guy who got the poboy was done eating before the burger came out and the waffles came out another 15 min after that. The menu seems a bit odd and my buddy said the burger tasted like it was steamed, not on a griddle. I take that out to mean that the burger was already cooked and they reheated it.
Not going back. I watched ever table have the same thing happen to it. People on the side of us got salads and they came out at least 10 min apart.
