Champp's played Second Down for every down during an LSU football game. It was so annoying.

Extreme Pita on Essen got good reviews on here and they announced several more openings in Baton Rouge. Next thing you know, they closed. Vanished into thin air.

What was the name of the place in Perkins Rowe before it was Lava Cantina? The music was so loud it would blow your hair back while you ate.

I don't think I heard one good thing about the Champs owner, including trying to pay for goods and services with champs giftcards

What was the place occupied by Bulldog? Is that what you're talking about?

Was that where Uncle Earl's was before Dreamland came in? I think Uncle Earls was in that shopping center.

I always remember Earls in the current building, but not occupying the front space until a few years ago.

Pat's Cajun Seafood & Steak

This has to be in the top three of all time for sure.

DreamLand comes to mind. It definitely was a big let down.

Walk On's (Coursey Blvd. Location) frick them. That's why.

Galatoire's (Out near Blue Bayou Water Park)

Suckers. BBQ place that closed off of College Dr. by the railroad tracks.

I forgot to mention Sante Fe Cattle Co. They had big plans for the area. Big plans. Big fail.

Suckers was pretty good -- I went there once or twice and liked it. But that College Drive traffic sucks monkey nuts.
What was that barbecue place in Southdowns Shopping Center, kind of around the Phil's/Thai Kitchen spot -- Bushwood Barbecue? That was pretty good.

The owners didn't know what they were doing. I heard good things about the food, but they were lacking in restaurant experience.

The traffic more than likely did them in. Anything off College is brutal and getting worse.
