Have had Rabideaux's and it's great. Have never had the other two listed.

Market basket is legit, Rabideaux’s is as well. I’ve never had Homsi’s but their sausage is pretty darn good. I bet Sonnier’s off of Enterprise near the interstate would have some great Tasso. His stuff is really good too.

I picked up some at In-Laws in Iowa last week, and it was very good.

So, just go to Evangeline Parish - good choice.

Biggest secret in Evangeline Parish. Their 7 steak is incredibly good too.

It’s smack dab in the center of the state. They have some of the best meat markets anywhere but it’s most definitely not in swla. I could see them claiming Acadiana but not swla.

Eunice, on Hwy 190 in St. Landry parish has several shops: Eunice Poultry, Eunice Superette, Mel’s Quick Stop, Lejeune’s Sausage Kitchen, T-Boy’s, Champagne’s, Coutee’s.
Rhea’s in Basile. Pap’s in Swords.

I always preferred Market Basket on Country Club Rd. The old location down the road used to be a store called Mere’s that was bought by Market Basket. They retained the smoke house and employees/recipes. That location is now part of Kroger parking lot.

I drive up there about every 6 months just for tasso.

I usually end up buying a googue just to take home too

Lejeune's Sausage Kitchen in Eunice & they have sell out of a store in Lafayette as well.

Rod's in Church Point I've actually never liked their tasso, but their sausage and other meats are good.
