Not sure about Ruth's, I really like the chimes brunch. Good beer and the brunch items are legit

I knew which post you were talking about without going back to look. When I lived in BR I enjoyed Flemings.

Try the Filet at TJ Ribs. I'm not saying it is the same cut of meat and prepared exactly like the filet at Ruth's...but it is! Not sure of the price comparison but I am willing to bet TJ's is cheaper.

Ruth's Chris (prime)

In consideration, Doe's Eat Place (if you just want a large cut of meat), Louisiana Lagniappe (Tournedos - filet medallions set in garlic beurre blanc, topped with sautéed shrimp, jumbo lump crabmeat and Béarnaise sauce ) and Sullivan's (for their filet mignon only - this cut of meat doesn't need to be prime).

Fleming's gets honorable mention, however they serve a better pork chop than steak.

Certainly agree. TJ's also does a great pork chop.
