Regardless of price, who has the best steak in Baton Rouge?

Regardless of Price it's Flemmings, IMO. Within a budget it's Little Village.

I would say Ruth's or Fleming's. I didn't remember a difference between them.

Did you get them to hold back on the butter? My only complaint about that dish is that it swims in butter.. The cut of steak everytime I have had it has been excellent though.

I seriously don't see the big deal about ruths. The last 3 times my med rare steak was charred, not that tender, and buttery. The marblization was poor, as well (for the money).

Flemmings, stroubes, and jubans (filet) are better quality, IMO.

I just had this happen this past weekend. It was a good steak, but not up to the usual standards there.

i'm not a big ruth's fan myself neither .. i used to think sullivan's was the shite until they decided they wanted to be a nightclub that grills steaks ... you can't beat flemings and actually, tsunami makes a damn good steak ..

Ruffino's does have a really fine Prime Bone-in Ribeye. Haven't been to Stroube's yet, unfortunately.

Least it's not Johnny's.

I like Ruffino's although I rarely order it. I always like Flemings. Not a fan of Ruth's Chris.

In Baton Rouge, Flemings is the best restaurant for ordering steak. They offer the best quality beef and the service is better than their competition. For what it's worth, Baton Rouge is not a good city for steakhouses, or even restaurants that serve steaks.

In most other cities I've been to I'd tell you you could go with Ruth's Chris and probably not be disappointed. But sadly I can't say that about Baton Rouge.
