For a casual lunch - Martin Wine Cellar. For a nice lunch in a real restaurant - At the risk of being down voted, which happens every time I recommend this restaurant on here, I would send you to Andrea's.

I meant that I get down voted for Andrea's, not Martin's.

Oh, +1 for Andrea's because they do a great job despite people saying they have not gotten a decent meal there in 10 years. I eat there for lunch at least once a month.

I guess I don't know where Metairie is if R&O's isn't Metairie.

Mr. B's on Metairie road is really good and reasonable for lunch. They have a great burger.

Wanted something cheap and simple not too long ago so I went to Big Cheezy.

Pleasantly surprised.

More like bunch of people that don't like paying a premium to get sick from the food.

Even the times I ate there I didn't get sick, the food never justified the price. There are many better, cheaper alternatives.

This!
I still go every now and then and am ok paying the premium for the crabs, but some of their prices are laughable.

If memory serves me correct, last time I was there I noticed a $14 fried tilapia sandwich and I think the shrimp and grits was $19.

At the risk of being labeled a poor, to me, a $13.00 sandwich without at least any free damn chips or pickles is a yuge rip-off, Martins.

Won't pay Galley prices, but will pay $11 for a sandwich at Martins with sliced boars head deli meats. Lol
