For all of Jackson’s problems, it has a great food scene.

Walkers and Lou’s full serve. Man ship also great. Table 100 of in the flowood area.

For memorable eating

My first choice would be Walkers in Fondren

Then Manship, across from Baptist Hospital

Then Lou's Full Serve on E. Fortification

Italian Amerigo's on Old Canton Road in Richland

For Steak Ely's in Richland

Quirky - Mayflower, Hal & Mal's, Martin's in front of Hal&Mak's all Downtown.

Good recommendations so far. Elvis’s is also pretty good.

Going to Caet tomorrow. Has anyone gotten the steak there, is it good?

It’s decent but I prefer their seafood dishes. They have pretty decent oyster options if you like oysters.

Thanks, I’ll probably stick with the seafood then.

I always thought Ely’s had the best steak in the metro area. It’s been a few years since I’ve been though, don’t know if it’s changed.

Ely’s is still great. Definitely my favorite place for steaks in the area.

Keifers is my favorite.

Dennerys, LaFleurs, and Green Derby are hall of famers.

Shapleys had my wife and I laughing at the table the service and food were so bad. The best part of the anniversary meal was going to a different restaurant for dessert

I am genuinely interested in what kind of conference would be held in Jackson. And where at. As stated above, Shapley's isn't what it used to be.

Same, it’s not bad but Aladdin and Aplos are much better in my opinion.
