Can't disagree with that, or get a loaf at Casamento's if the wait isn't too bad

If not uptown, I'd encourage you to make the trip to Parkway, well worth it

I also heard The Grocery is back open doing more unique poboys (so if looking for fried shrimp that may not work)

Mahoney's is open for dinner now.

Nod to Parkway too if you want to drive to Mid-City.

So many po-boy places just aren't open past mid-afternoon.

I haven't been to F&J in a long time. Is it no longer palatable?

Pretty mediocre shrimp po-boy.

I would go to Parasol's before Domilise.

Parasol's is underrated. Maybe it's the grungy environment. They have good sandwiches regardless.

Pretty much identical IMO except one uses cocktail sauce. I like both places, but Dom closes 7ish that why I asked what's considered night time.

Best time to go to Domilise's is from 4-6pm...little to no wait and you can actually get a table. I like their shrimp po' boy, even with all that "cocktail sauce". I mean, Tracy Porter gave a nod over Parkway during a Food Wars episode circa 2008! Is Guy's still closed? Are they going to reopen.

P.S. Parkway is my favorite, but Domilise's holds a special place in my heart.

Yes, but it's getting close. Been trimming out this week and they had the furniture in this morning.

Are you from Houma? I don't know why anyone would like those puny shrimp on a po-boy. It's ok, but it's not worth seeking out.
