best place I can find ripe avocados in Metairie?

I've given up on the Rouses on airline and Labarre for produce, was impressed with Ideal

no shite, thats where i shop too.
ended up going to WF, where just about every avocado was ripe. felt like heaven. I havent found a ripe avocado at that Rouses in like 6 months, and i check every time im there, 2-3x a week

Rouses has the fricking worst produce. I feel like I'd have a better shot getting a nice piece a fruit from Circle K.

Yes they do.
The Ghetto rouses by my house always had shallots. Well that store close so now everyone goes to the Winn-Dixie Rouses. I asked the produce girl if they had shallots, she said yeah they over there and pointed to the green onion tops. I told her that's not shallots, shallots are little onion looking things. She said we don't carry that. FML, I'm going to have to find another source or get with the MGR and see if can start getting them. As far as avacados.... They normally have some nice ripe ones unless they are on sale. Then most of them are hard.
