Best Pizza in BR, whatcha got....

Driving through in our way to NOLA, who's got the best pizza? Really enjoy NY style but we're open to other styles. TIA. For what it's worth, I've had Pastime & Fleur de Lis, so those aren't a "must"

Roma isn't as good as it once was.... Led Zep is good.... And Ina get slammed for this, but my wife and I now believe Grimaldi's may be at the top of the pizza chain.

They have new owners; it's now called Souga Pizza Factory. I've never been to either Oscar's or Souga, but I read a review and it seemed interesting. I think they have a few of the same menu items.

I didn't know that. I thought the Nino's folks owned it. Guess they sold it recently.

It's the same menu actually. They have interesting pizzas like duck and andouille gumbo and prosciutto and fig. They also make their own ice cream there, and I've never had a bad flavor. I like the place a lot, but I just wish they kept the name.

Portobello's took pizzas off their menu a few years ago, but there's were delicious. The last couple of times I've gotten slices at Whole Foods, the pizza was very bland.
