Any suggestions? I usually drink beer but was thinnking about a coke or something.

Try the sweet tea.

If it's no good, just take all the sweetener/sugar out of it.

Depends on if you go from the shell to mouth=sweet
oyster to cocktail sauce and cracker=unsweetened.

I put a tiny drop of coctail sauce and small squirt of lemon on the oyster and then suck it out of the shell.

Sometimes I go just lemon.

Probably going to need to get both and test especially if you go here for happy hour and get the oysters in abundance

really depends on the flavor profile of the oysters you are eating. are they heavily salty? mildly salty with a sweet finish? soft and sweet?
