Well they got number 1 right

According to Maxim Magazine

Also a nice shout out to Hogs

While this year’s rendition of Hogs for the Cause (in its tenth year, and including 100 teams of pitmasters in a hog-centric cookoff), will dig up the dirt March 31-April 1, featuring a dozen bands headlines by the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and alt-country duo Shovels & Rope.

I'd rather a blue rare steak (you pick the cut) from La Boca over anything on that list. Not sure what they were going for. Best BBQ/sandwich shop probably would have been a better title.

We talking meat or specifically BBQ? Toups would have to be in discussion at the top if it's not just BBQ.

Toups
Cochon

Seemed like a list of the best bbq and meat sandwiches.

Wish they were open on the weekend or for dinner but I understand why they sell out and are limited. They have a great product especially that sausage.

Their two sauces are the best I've had so far too.

I work 8 minutes away. Will probably be there once a week.

Yea Toups belongs, but that list is a testament to how deep the local BBQ scene is getting.

Ate there when I was in town for a wedding (my first visit to New Orleans). Loved it (the city and the restaurant.)

Central City is #1? They're good, but #1? They just opened.
