I bought 5lbs of Gator for some relatives coming into town who want to try some and was trying to see if any good recipes I should cook with it. I have blackened and fried alligator but nothing beyond that. Any suggestions?

Same way you cook turtle sauce piquant. Brown, onions, water, roux, golden cream of mushroom, rotel, bloop bloop till tender, cook rice.

Again, not sure where the piquante comes into play with that recipe.

ETA: to the OP, throw it away and get some steaks. That's my suggestion. I really dislike gator meat.

Sauce Piquante. See Treedawg's recipe in the recipe thread and/or TD cookbook.
