Lee's by a wide margin. The quality of the dishes, and friendly family like nature of the owner is wonderful. We drive all the way out from Prairieville about once a month.
I have not tried the Asian Seafood house. The only thing that gives me pause with that place is the seafood tanks inside. And I'm probably judging that too harshly based on the crazy array of things I've seen at the next-door grocery. The open rubbermaid tubs of live eels with snake-like heads was particularly fun. I have no idea if it is associated with the restaurant or simply shares a parking lot. The yelp pictures do look solid.
*eta* They were Asian Swamp Eels

Thanks for help on this. We actually went across the river and picked up from Paul Wongs. He used to be open for lunch in the market downtown. He opened up his own place in Port Allen. Really good…. You can get all dishes spicy.

Does he make egg rolls in his old family’s style, though?

Since Omi and Nine Dragon Noodle House shut down Ive been missing good Chinese.
I saw that Omi was replaced by Cheng's, but Nine Dragon looks like they've rebranded. It's now Nine Dragon Seafood and Hot Chicken

The answer is Asian Seafood House on Sherwood & Florida. It’s fantastic.

Maybe you should quit clicking on redundant threads, since you complain about them on every board.

The Main Street Market spot is still there.
Black pepper shrimp and chicken, gung pao chicken, and garlic green beans (no rice/noodles) is my go to lunch combo.
In the same family, I think his son used to run Chow Main on Main St., but Covid killed it.

WTF. I just looked at the 9 Dragon website. It really is nothing but fried/ boiled seafood and hot chicken. Maybe its good but they had some of the best asian food in town and they just completely ditched that menu.
