Starfish and Jo-Bobs at the Conoco station are the only answers.

Get the grillmaster with bacon from Jo-Bobs.

The burgers from the guy at Sureway with the big arse BBQ pit are decent. I recall the burger from Morans being pretty good. Don't think I've ever had a burger from Starfish but I enjoyed the shrimp poboy. Mostly do our own cooking when on the island.

Starfish has good food but slow as hell been there twice not even durning the rodeo it took over and hour each time. I could only imagine how slow it is during the rodeo.

It's been years since I been down there. Is Cigars still around?

Not since Katrina.

Only thing I've ever had at Starfish was the shrimp poboy and it was good. The only thing that keeps me from returning is they were pretty slow and I'm usually by myself so I don't want to go to a sit down place.

The Jo Bob at Jo Bob's has been my go-to lately. Usually in and out pretty quick. I'll have to give Starfish burgers a try soon though.

You can call in the order and pick it up in the drive thru. This weekend probably isn't a good time to try it.

I forget about the drive thru, definitely will give them another shot next time I'm down there, just not this weekend.

I miss Sarah's. Best biscuits I've ever had in my life. What was the restaurant where Starfish is now? Lighthouse maybe? Used to have some good eats there too

Noticed this weekend the lighthouse is still open. Haven't been there in years. Wasn't great what I remember.

Anyone tried the new place where the chicken joint used to be ?

get the onion rings. They're the homemade stringy style

Always need to crisp them up in the oven.
