I’m gonna be down there Saturday night. I’ve been to Dwight’s in the past, but would like to try another place. Won’t have time to hit anything outside of town though.

You would think that you could get some of the best boiled crawfish of your life in that area, and you might.

Buyer beware. There are a LOT of people sprinkling in that area. If that's not your thing, ask questions.

I don't like my fingers seasoned. I prefer the tail meat to be.

LT's were good last weekend. I think we may pick up from Bubba's tomorrow night to give them a try. Crawfish time is decent.

I have yet to find any place in Lafayette that has boiled crawfish on par with New Orleans. And I live here. I am constantly looking. I follow threads on the Nextdoor app who often ask this same question.

Usually Dwight's is one of the better recommended. What's more important to you? Size? Flavor?

The best flavor I have found was The Cajun Table. Some say Crawfish Time on Moss or Verot.

I am interested in what others on here might say.

I haven't been in a while, so I can't vouch for it but Louisiana Crawfish Time on Verot is packed every night of the week.

Apparently, a lot of people like it.

Size is actually what I’m interested in most. In northla we have some with good flavor, but always small.

Crawfish Time usually has the best size. I've tried about 6 different places in Lafayette over the years.

I just wish someone around here had the flavor of the seafood restaurants from Metairie/New Orleans.

Richard’s in abbeville. I know you said you want in Lafayette but if you want size and taste, that’s the spot.

Please update the thread and let us know how Bubba’s is, it’s right near my house and would like to know if it’s good. LT’s popped up in that building last year and they were very good.

Yeah, that little spot seems to be the kiss of death. Nothing seems to last there.

That’s where we used to go all the time in early 2000’s when we lived in Lafayette. They were pretty good back then.

I see there is a LT’s in Broussard and Lafayette. I’m guessing the same people?

Crawfish Time on Verot is good and is our go-to place.

The Cajun Table: ate crawfish there for the first time last season and also very good.

Bubba's Seafood is new and is in a little red portable "barn" building near Oishi Sushi that was an outpost of LTs (of Broussard) last year. Before that, it has been several iterations of drive-up concession stand type of foods. I don't think there is any sit-down dining, drive-thru only.

Ate at Cajun Claws in Abbeville a couple times and they were good. That’s all I know

Where are you seeing the LT's in Lafayette? They had a popup in a little building on Kaliste Saloom, but they aren't in it this year. That's where Bubba's is.

I usually do my own, but have had some from that place by Earls on Verot (can’t remember the name) and they were very good.

They also have a new boiling spot between Lafayette and Maurice called Crawfish Acadiana. Its a drive thru and my buddy says it stays bumper to bumper when they are open

Crawfish Time on Verot has my vote. If just picking up, Crawfish Spot on corner of Kaliste Saloom and Pinhook is very good as well.
