Had dinner there wednesday night. Very underwhelmed as well. Although, they had NONE of the food I've been hearing about on menus or the special board.

The softshell crab on top of fried green tomatoes was very good, also had a crawfish cream sauce.

The crabcakes were ok. Very thick, but not much seasoning.

I simply don't like mussels, found that out the hard way, but the fries and aeoli were awesome.

Ambiance was very classy, and I have to point out, the service was REMARKABLE.

I found the food was very good but the portions were skimpy. As stated above, service was very good with a nice atmosphere.

meh. If you have to go, the best menu item I've had there is the french onion soup. But that is relative.

I ate there Wednesday evening. I had the foie gras app, rabbit entree, and Chocolate pot de creme dessert.

The foie gras was so small, I ate it in one bite, just not memorable.

Rabbit entree was not good at all. It consisted off shredded rabbit, that I couldn't event make out, tossed in a thick heavy cream with some frozen peas, diced carrots, and mushrooms. The entire dish was just a mess.

The dessert, while visually unappealing, tasted quite delicious.

I really wanted to love this place. I thought an establishment like this is a step in the right direction for Baton Rouge, unfortunately the food needs some work. Just no reason for me ever to go back.
