I'm lighting up the Egg tomorrow for my wife's work friends.
I've got 4 slabs of St. Louis style ribs, 8 leg quarters and 3 lbs of smoked sausage. Plus potato salad and baked beans. Also doing hot dogs for kids
I'm actually wondering if this will be enough meat.
What's the board think?

Cook a 7-8 lb butt just in case. I can eat a slap of ribs alone.

Agree with my fellow rb'r. You could even low n' slow it in the oven if you start it early enough.

Gonna be a lot of beer of drinking as well and a bunch of apps. So that ls why I'm thinking this might be enough

Leftover BBQ is always a plus. Not enough is always failure.

Words to live by. Nothing better than a drunken ravage of leftover pulled pork.

It's enough if you're having apps and people are drinking. That will fill them up

With that said me personally I'd throw some BBQ wings on there just to be safe. Most people won't kill a ton of messy ribs because they don't wanna look like a slobby fatass. I would though lol

That's enough. I never think I have enough and ALWAYS have left overs

Just grab another pack of leg quarters. They are cheap and don't take very long to cook

Do you really want to be the guy who didn't have enough food for the cook out?

More chicken for sure. If you leftovers make a gumbo with the smoked chicken.

This is why i always do way too many leg quarters. Wife says "you are cooking way too much chicken"

Next day "hey sweetie that gumbo sure smells good. Glad we had leftover chicken amd sausage"
