I searched google and the search function on here and did not see this event covered. It looks interesting but would like to see if anyone had experience with this particular beer event. Baton Rouge on Tap

America On Tap is a for profit company that hosts beer festival s across the country.
Generally the beer available is the same stuff you'll find on shelf at your local grocery store, no homebrewers and no limited release beers. Occasionally a local brewer will bring a cask/keg of something different.
Whether or not these events are 'worth it' or fun really depends on what you are looking for.
If you want to go out with friends and have a few beers in a festival setting then it can be a good time.
If you looking to try new or limited release or homebrewed beers you'd be better served attending Zapps in April.
