On the whole, it's not an awful throwaway USA Today type blurb, as far as those things usually go.
You gotta think a place like Birmingham - that has a pretty decent 20+ year established food scene - is a bit pissed about being included on a list like this. I mean, BR still doesn't have anything close to Highland Grill and its progeny.
