I just mixed some Pear Infused Balsamic vinegar in my plain nonfat Greek yogurt. It is pretty good.

Is this:

a. already a thing-duh
b. a good idea
c. disgusting

Apparently it's a thing in California at the least. We did a olive oil / balsamic tasting and they would mix the flavored ones in ice cream and stuff like that. I agree it was pretty damn good.

Seems like a waste of balsamic...assuming we're talking real balsamico and not some supermarket grade brownish vinegar claiming balsamic ancestry.

But I like most anything mixed w/greek yogurt.

I mix plain yogurt, bit of olive oil, little whole grain or Dijon mustard, balsamic, salt and pepper and a bit of honey from my wife's bees for a salad dressing. A little garlic and some fresh herbs can be added as well. Make it as thick or thin as you want.

Good stuff. And yes that is my industrial made balsamic tasting vinegar.

My $100 ten drop real bottle is hidden.

How is it a waste if the person eating it is enjoying it? Maybe you should get off your high horse every once in a while...

Apparently I am the blind squirrel who found a nut, when everyone else knew it was there.

That's a good use of GY. I even put it on baked potatoes and in black bean soup as a sour cream alternative.
