We are looking for a place in Baton Rouge that can accommodate around 100 people. Want to be able to eat, drink, and watch the away game vs. Miss St. Any bar / restaurant suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Barcadia would work, but it might be a tight fit.
The Chimes next door is a lot larger, but will likely already be crowded (as will it's East location).
BWW would be able to accommodate your group, but their food is garbage. Same goes for Walk-Ons

The patio at Mike Anderson's might not be a bad option.
Chelsea's could be fun as they have a decent number of TV's and incredible food.
The Pluckers near the Mall would likley be a great spot (the one near LSU would be too small).
For an "old-school" BR institution (and I do mean old), try the Pastime.
Mellow Mushroom wouldn't be bad as a pizza joint.

there is a shed/house type of deal behind Chelsea's that you can rent out. You probably have to supply your on tv or projector so that is an issue. Outside of that the space is pretty cool with a big lawn.

Been to a few parties, and couple crawfish boils there.

It is different but 100 people is a lot of people to just go to a bar, IMO.

If you are functioning adults it should be out of your price range. Get a few kegs, wine, booze/mixers and something on the grill.

for sure, It is way more effort than just going to a bar but for that size of a group it is worth it.

How about the back patio/bar at Walkons? It's gonna have to be a place where they don't have to close the entire bar to accommodate you.

The downstairs area at The Chimes is available for private parties.

The Station Sports Bar off of College Drive might work for your group. They are always booking parties. Close to a bunch of hotels and right off the interstate.

You should really just set up a tailgate and cater it. Bring chairs, tents, fans, TV, etc.
You're welcome

This may sound strange, but it may work. The Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Exec Center off College Dr on the service road by Ninfa's has a bar with a TV on the bar and several along the walls (or it used to). Lots of comfortable seating and I never see many folks in there. Some years ago, we used it for a meeting place on Friday night before a few Saturday in town games. Usually had about 50 people. We watched Friday night games and just ordered burgers, wings etc... from the attached restaurant. Food was fine for what it was. This was more about drinking, watching games and getting together with a bunch of out of town friends in for the game. Worked great. Everyone had their own tabs etc... It's been awhile since I was in there on a weekend, so I haven't noticed the TV's other than the one still over the bar. You could call and see what's up with it. I think the bar served food until midnight, maybe and the restaurant until 10, maybe later on a weekend. No charge for a room rental. A few times, some folks ordered pizza delivered to them in the bar or picked it up. Can't remember. The pool was right outside with a large patio area where some folks hung out and ate. Worked for our purposes and the folks working there were very accommodating and nice. Probably happy to have the business.
